These terms govern your use of the ModelWatch website and API (the "Service"). By browsing the site, creating an API key, or calling the API, you agree to these terms.

1. What ModelWatch is

ModelWatch tracks published pricing, context-window, and rate-limit information for AI models across providers, and shows changes over time. It is an independent tracker: ModelWatch is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any AI provider it covers, and provider names and marks are used only to identify the models the data is about.

2. Data sources and coverage

ModelWatch draws from an open pricing dataset published under the MIT License and from providers' own public pricing pages; it does not access any provider's non-public data. ModelWatch is currently in preview: coverage of providers, models, and fields is deliberately partial and will grow over time, and a model's absence from ModelWatch does not mean it doesn't exist or isn't priced.

3. Accuracy and "data as of"

Every figure on ModelWatch is refreshed on a regular schedule and shown with the date we last confirmed it. Provider pricing changes on its own schedule, sometimes without advance notice, and the provider's own current pricing page always controls — confirm there before making a purchasing, budgeting, or deployment decision based on a price shown here. Report an error using the Contact details below.

4. API access and attribution

API tiers, request limits, and pricing are described on pricing. If you republish or redistribute data obtained from the ModelWatch API in a product or report, credit "ModelWatch" with a link back to modelwatch.keelhelm.com. Don't present ModelWatch data as your own original research, and don't call your key rate faster than what your plan allows.

5. Acceptable use

Use the Service only as these terms and the pricing page's published limits allow. The general conduct rules that apply to every Keelhelm service — what you must not do — are in the company-wide Keelhelm Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms. We may throttle or suspend access that threatens the Service or others.

6. Intellectual property and DMCA

Ownership of the Service and its software is covered by the Keelhelm Terms of Service (Our intellectual property). Copyright notices and takedowns are governed by the Keelhelm Copyright / DMCA Policy — file through the Keelhelm copyright notice form.

7. Fees and payment

The free tier is free. Paid tiers, when available, are billed in advance each month at the prices shown on pricing. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the period you've paid for. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

These are governed by the Keelhelm Terms of Service (Disclaimers), which apply to ModelWatch — including that the Service and its data are provided "as is," without warranty that any figure is current, complete, or error-free (see Sections 2–3 above).

9. Limitation of liability

Our liability for ModelWatch is governed by the Keelhelm Terms of Service (Limitation of liability), which sets the single liability cap that applies to ModelWatch.

10. Indemnification

This is governed by the Keelhelm Terms of Service (Indemnity), which applies to ModelWatch.

11. Governing law and venue

Governing law and venue are set by the Keelhelm Terms of Service (Governing law and disputes), which applies to ModelWatch.

12. Changes to these terms

How we make and notify changes is governed by the Keelhelm Terms of Service (Changes to the Services and these Terms); we version these app terms (see above) and may ask you to agree again the next time you create a key.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account anytime. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. On closure you can request export or deletion of your account data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Keelhelm company policies

As noted above, ModelWatch is operated by Keelhelm and is also governed by the company-wide policies in the Keelhelm policy library, incorporated into these terms by reference. To report a concern or illegal content, use the Keelhelm reporting form (see the Reporting & Notice-and-Action Policy).
